Professor of Afro-Indigenous history at UCLA Kyle T. Mays, published his new book An Afro-Indigenous History of the United States this past week on November 16th! His book focuses on topics of black and indigenous struggle, the history of colonialism, and their parallels with present-day challenges.
In light of November being National Indigenous History Month, and the timely release of his new book, Professor Mays’ was featured on BNC News’ Black News Tonight with host Marc Lamont Hill!
