Know your ABCs? – Abolition Curriculum – Common Book + Film.

The students and faculty at UCLA, in collaboration with the Prison Education Program, Black Graduate Student Association, Underground Scholars Initiative, Cops off Campus, NoUCPD and UCftp are implementing a common book and film for the upcoming school year around which a series of events (film screenings/workshops/talks) will take place. This year we have selected, Angela Davis’s Abolition Democracy: Beyond Empire, Prisons, and Torture, and Ava Duvernay’s 13th.
