The Bunche Center, in collaboration with the Department of African American Studies, is pleased to announce the recruitment for the next cohort of undergraduate research fellows. This program is designed to assist undergraduate students with strong interest in research that explores various aspects of Black life—from health and wellness to culture and politics. Ten students will be selected and will each be awarded $12,000.
Recipients will be placed on a faculty-led research team and will be required to take research courses with Dr. Walter Allen. Students will also be required to commit to working on the faculty-led project up to 20 hours a week. The program runs through the fall, winter, spring, and summer of AY 2020-2021. All majors are welcome, however, priority will be given to African American Studies majors and minors.
