Remembering Fred Ho The Legacy of Afro Asian Futurism by Zachary Price

Zachary Price is currently a Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Fellow at UCLA in the Department of African American Studies. He works at the intersection of performance studies, black studies, film studies, and ethnography, drawing from his experience as a playwright, actor, educator, martial arts practitioner, and cultural producer. His book project, “Fists of Freedom: Performing, Asian Martial Arts in the Black Radical Imagination,” is a study of comparative ethnic relations and the making of Black subjectivity across multiple performance disciplines and modalities.
